The flexible seating that will be added to our classroom will allow multiple students to have a choice of seats. When they are feeling anxious, stressed or having difficulties focusing on their assignment, changing their seat can make a huge difference. Students with diverse disabilities struggle in many ways and if we can reduce some by just changing their seating, this will eliminate one obstacle in their day. Students love to sit on these chairs and relax while doing their assignments and learning new material presented to them. These different seats and fidget toys will allow the students to move and pay attention, while learning and reducing their stress or anxiety level.
