Every donation we get is important to the education I can help provide my students. While the goal of my job is to make sure I am teaching the students, they need more from me than to be just their teacher. On any given day, we are solving their social problems, feeding them when they come to school without breakfast, and helping them through the moments that cause meltdowns. YOUR generosity makes it easier to continue doing those things. We start back to school in less than a week and I know the students are going to be thrilled to have the new contributions to our classroom pantry! The chairs continue to be in use and continue to provide a comfortable space for our students to learn and grow in. \r\n\r\nWe are continuing to update and upgrade our classroom one project at a time. I am able to print classroom posters with math facts, and punctuation reminders. I can print my students their visual checklists and schedules that provide them the visual stimulation and reminder that they need.\r\n\r\nI have particular student that requires visual checklists, schedules, and reminders. I have previously printed these in black and white, because that was my only option. However, now that I can print in color, my student is able to stay on track better with his work without causing more anxiety than necessary.
