When we received the items they were each asking when they would get a turn at the magnets center. It has been a huge hit!\r\n\r\nWe use the magnet board and magnet activities as part of our magnet center. The magnet center is one of the six hands on centers that students complete when we have our center time. This time at the magnet center allows them to use creativity and their imagination in building various different things with magnet materials. \r\n\r\nI thank you so very much for your donation to this project. We use them every day in class. We use them to write our letters as well as beginning words. We are starting to learn how to write sentences on our boards as well. In math, we are able to practice addition and subtraction facts too. Since I am able to change what is displayed in the see through pocket, students are able to place various different math work mats in the pocket. The boards work very well for the time we are working as a whole class at the large group rug. They work well because of the hard back that allows students to write on their lap. \r\n\r\nMy students were excited to receive the new boards. I explained to them how our new boards were purchased.
