I teach in a neighborhood school in a suburban town. My classroom is full of enthusiastic learners who come from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. Our school, which serves students in grades K through 5, is also near an Air Force base, so we have many military families in our school. My amazing fifth grade students come to school every day eager to learn something new and love participating in hands on, engaging lessons.
