We start our periods with quiet reading time, and the room settles into this calm, focused energy as everyone dives into their books. Afterward, students pair up to talk about what they read, ask each other questions, and share connections they're making. It feels less like an assignment and more like a community of readers growing together.\r\n\r\nThere are already standout moments that wouldn't have happened without these books. One student who rarely checked out anything from our library has now finished two novels and is asking for recommendations.
