Their generous donations allowed us to purchase essential items such as volleyballs, knee pads, training gear, and other resources that significantly enhanced our practices and games. With access to better equipment, our athletes were able to train more effectively and safely, which contributed to noticeable improvements in performance and teamwork. The upgraded gear helped create a more structured and professional environment, setting the tone for a successful and memorable season.\r\n\r\nMore importantly, the support we received from these donors gave our team a sense of encouragement and validation. Knowing that people outside our school community cared enough to invest in our success truly inspired our players and coaching staff. It brought a renewed sense of pride to our program and helped strengthen our team spirit throughout the season. The impact of those donations went far beyond the court — they helped build confidence, unity, and lasting memories for every player involved. We are deeply grateful for the generosity that made such a positive difference in our volleyball journey last year.","fullyFundedDate":1723674165848,"projectUrl":"project/empower-wildcats-volleyball/8474852/","projectTitle":"Empower Wildcats Volleyball!","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Dryjanski","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2437994_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y504&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1565910812776","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/gdryjanski"},{"teacherId":5998706,"projectId":9003096,"letterContent":"I am so thankful for everything you all did to make this project a success. We got the project fully funded in just a few days and I am so grateful for having such an amazing extended support system for our students. It's 1/17 today and we just launched the classroom library! The first book that was checked out was Twilight, followed by various manga titles! Because of all of you, we were able to add almost 40 titles to the library, which I've combined with a few books from my personal connection to reach 50 titles for students to choose from.\r\n\r\nWords don't express it all. In one of my class periods, students spent the entire class reading. And reading in ENGLISH. Students were engaged and though a few have expressed hesitation with taking on a book in English by themselves, I have been surprised by how many were ready to take on the challenge almost immediately. My hope is that this will become less of a challenge for them in the future. I am hoping that one day, perhaps a few years or a few months from now, reading a book in English will become second nature. \r\n\r\nPlease enjoy the pics of all the books in our reading corner. I am very serious about my student's privacy, so I won't post pics of their faces enjoying the books, but trust me when I say it was heartwarming. Thank you all so much!","fullyFundedDate":1735661766126,"projectUrl":"project/creating-a-classroom-library/9003096/","projectTitle":"Creating a Classroom Library","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Martínez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5998706_orig.jpg?crop=1079,1079,x0,y115&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1735506122238","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/edumartinez"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_25809","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":741,"numTeachers":44,"percentFrplEligible":90,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":26,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":69,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"16.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":71.9,"schoolId":25809,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Clemente Community Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Clemente Community Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/illinois/chicago-public-school-district-299/clemente-achievement-acad/25809"}
