We currently have 94 students in 4 classes learning music. Right now there are 11 working keyboards and kids are partnered, but there are about 6 more kids in each class without access. We would like to use the keyboards to learn a new instrument, and give kids access to colleges and institutions, where traditionally, minorities struggle to gain acceptance. With these keyboards we are ensuring they ALL have 100% access to pianos. Students will use the instruments to learn music and write their own original compositions, and many are interested in using this new skill to further their music career.
