Throughout the course of the year, students will have the opportunity to work in several digital mediums to share personal and adapted stories. Using microphones, headphones and high-definition cameras, they will be enabled to bring their stories to life by creating movies, commercials, podcasts, newscasts, oral commentaries and spoken word portfolios. My students thrive and prosper when they exercise their creativity in English class beyond taking pen to paper. We live in a digital age. My students deserve the opportunity to work with high-quality equipment that challenges them to take ownership and pride in the work they produce while having fun doing it.
