The students were so excited to try out the press. We already had a printer and tote bags, so the students got right to chatting about possible design ideas and how they would look on the bag. Then they were able to print them out. Once printed, it was simple for the students to place the designs on the tote bags. Previously, we had to use a small iron to try to get the designs printed and it did not work well. The students said they felt like they were working in an actual custom clothing store with this press. These brains and the exciting act of dissecting really motivated my students to keep working hard through a challenging unit to learn.
