Students who are early finishers with classroom activities can silent read these texts also. I have students work with partners to read the books on their own when I work with small groups for specialized English language arts and math instruction.\r\n\r\nThe books on animals and habitats are especially popular and useful. I had one student who didn't know what a coral reef was until he borrowed a book from this donation. The book has bright and colorful photos and lots of easy to understand information about coral reefs.
