The cameras will help students spark an interest in photography and make a difference in their learning. My school media/technology department does not own cameras to assist students. The cameras will allow student to capture school events and memories throughout every classroom from kindergarten to fifth grade. Each student who is a part of the yearbook club will be able to be considered press, and have access to all events throughout the school year firsthand. They will learn how to utilize the online yearbook portal by editing and inputting photos. They will be able to learn to make decisions based on what they believe their peers would like to see in their yearbook.
