It allows me to prepare lessons more efficiently, create engaging presentations, access online resources, and use interactive simulations that help make science concepts easier for my students to understand.\r\n\r\nThe laptop has also helped me organize instructional materials, prepare assessments, and communicate more effectively with students and colleagues. As a teacher who works with diverse learners, including students with special educational needs, having access to technology enables me to create learning materials that are more accessible and engaging for everyone.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this donation has had a positive impact on my students. They are more interested and involved during lessons, especially when technology is integrated into classroom activities. Adding color and thoughtful layout to worksheets has made a noticeable difference in how students respond to their activities. One student even pointed out how the worksheets looked different and more appealing because of the added color and improved presentation. That simple comment reminded me that students are very aware of how learning materials are presented, and that these small improvements can help increase their interest and motivation.\r\n\r\nBeyond worksheets, the printer has also given me the opportunity to recognize student effort in more meaningful ways. At the end of the quarter, I was able to print certificates for students who produced outstanding work and create bookmarks as small rewards. Seeing their excitement and pride when receiving something made specifically for them was truly rewarding. These moments help students feel seen, valued, and encouraged to continue doing their best.\r\n\r\nThe extension cord has also played an important role in supporting student learning. Since students regularly use Chromebooks for class activities, there are times when devices run low on battery before work is completed. Having access to an extension cord allows students to charge their devices and continue working without interruption. This simple support helps ensure that learning does not stop due to technical limitations and allows students to stay focused and productive.\r\n\r\nThank you for your continued support in providing resources that directly enhance student engagement, motivation, and success.","fullyFundedDate":1771720131255,"projectUrl":"project/ink-spiring-ideas/10109317/","projectTitle":"Ink-spiring Ideas","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jennie Mae Hernandez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10096696_orig.jpg?crop=2426,2426,x478,y1849&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1762889485963","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10096696"},{"teacherId":10438709,"projectId":10109987,"letterContent":"Mahalo again for the support and the donation of our tackle wheel. Seeing their faces light up as they donned their lab gear and realized they would be performing hands-on comparative anatomy was a highlight of our semester.\r\n\r\nIn the classroom, these resources have transformed our lessons into an active laboratory environment. We are currently using the specimens to compare the internal structures of different marine species, allowing students to see firsthand how evolution has shaped diverse respiratory and digestive systems for life underwater.
