The art materials I have requested help build a curriculum for the bereaved students that emphasizes art and mindfulness activities. I want to provide these students with a variety of art supplies such as paints, colored pencils, pens, journals, etc so my students are inspired to express themselves and their feelings through the art that they create or words that they write. By donating to my project you will help grieving students share their stories through art and writing that they do not have the words to say. My administrator was kind enough to find me an empty classroom to hold the grief group in since my office is too small. I want it be a safe place and blank canvas to fill with each one of their artwork.
