My students are taking my Medical Biology and Anatomy & Physiology classes because they are interested in pursuing some type of medically related field after high school or college graduation. The use of microscopes in this area is essential to understanding the human body's structure and function. The addition of a high quality histology slide set to our current materials will allow students to get a microscopic look at normal cellular structure so that they are better able to differentiate abnormal/pathological states when they proceed to higher grade level instruction.
