By attaching the specialized solar filter to the smart telescope you purchased, they safely observed the sun in real-time and witnessed solar features that most people never get to see. This experience was further enriched by a guest lecture from a local astronomy professor, who spoke to the students about solar physics and how stars evolve over billions of years.\r\n\r\nThe students also explored the chemistry of the stars through a hands-on spectroscopy lab.
