They needed more personal access to the order of activities for their day in order to improve learning and deal with change. Since getting a laminator that I have in my classroom, I've been able to create visual schedules for the students that are geared directly to each student's day, and which includes special services. This has lowered student anxiety across the board in our classroom, and raised academic growth as they've improved their organizational skills and taken responsibility for more of their lessons.\r\n\r\nAnother issue in my room was my student's problem with focus after recess when they got hungry. I wanted to avoid sugary snacks, and Goldfish has provided a healthier snack.
