We are used the materials during our holiday challenge with shoeboxes. Students designed their own float using a theme of their choice. They were\r\nespecially excited to use the cardboard cutter. The cutter go students to brainstorm ideas for what they could create using the cardboard so that they could use it.\r\n Your contribution did more than provide materials — it created opportunities for collaboration, creativity, perseverance, and joy in learning. Our classroom is filled with excitement, teamwork, and meaningful problem-solving because of you. The students went through the design process over the course of a few weeks and were able to create something they can physically touch and take home !\r\n\r\nThe students were excited and overwhelmed with the project at first but once they got started , they couldn't wait for science time each day ! They needed more personal access to the order of activities for their day in order to improve learning and deal with change. Since getting a laminator that I have in my classroom, I've been able to create visual schedules for the students that are geared directly to each student's day, and which includes special services. This has lowered student anxiety across the board in our classroom, and raised academic growth as they've improved their organizational skills and taken responsibility for more of their lessons.\r\n\r\nAnother issue in my room was my student's problem with focus after recess when they got hungry. I wanted to avoid sugary snacks, and Goldfish has provided a healthier snack.
