The tools associated with the computer will provide easier use and more productivity for interacting with my students. As you know a good book can transport you to another place or give you the tools needed to face another day with grace and fortitude. These books have given hope to countless students and provide avenues to openly talk about difficult life issues. Students will be returning to school with a variety of needs and as a counselor I want to be prepared with a variety of tools to meet their needs. The hands on toys and gadgets will provide avenues for skill building and relationship building activities. The colored pens and paper will allow for creative and artistic expression which is necessary for processing and working through emotions.
