Hilo is a very rainy town! On average we can have 236 rainy days a year. That is a lot of missed recesses for our students. We want to have alternative activities that are fun for our students to partake in when they can not run outdoors. What is more fun than playing classic board games? Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn. We truly believe that all children need time to socialize and freely play. This is an important aspect of fostering a well balanced child. By giving them board games the students can socialize in a structured environment.

About my class
