Your generous contributions have already made a meaningful difference in our classroom. My students are using the new resources to explore engineering concepts through hands-on, project-based learning. They have been especially excited to work with the materials because they are able to design, build, test, and improve their ideas. Seeing their excitement when they first saw the new materials reminded me how important it is to give students opportunities to create and discover.\r\n\r\nOne of our current projects has students applying problem-solving, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills as they work through the engineering design process. They are learning that engineers do not always get things right the first time, it is okay to test an idea, discover what went wrong, and try again. As we continue this project, my students will have opportunities to improve their designs, explain their thinking, and reflect on what they learned. Your support has helped create a classroom where students can be curious, take on challenges, and see themselves as young engineers.
