Having snacks readily available has also reduced disruptions and helped students remain engaged in learning activities for longer periods of time.\r\n\r\nBecause of these donated materials, I have been able to use snacks as part of structured teaching strategies, including token economies, social skills activities, and life skills instruction. We built it into our schedule as part of our morning sensory routine and as a structured break option throughout the day. One especially meaningful moment was watching a student who typically struggles with transitions use the trampoline before circle time; after a few minutes of jumping, they were noticeably calmer and able to join the group activity with increased focus. The trampoline has supported not only gross motor development but also improved attention, emotional regulation, and readiness to learn.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the trampoline, their reactions were pure joy and excitement. Some students clapped, others smiled ear to ear, and a few immediately used their communication devices or signs to request a turn. Even students who are usually hesitant around new materials were curious and eager to observe. It was heartwarming to see how motivating the trampoline was and how quickly it became a positive, shared experience.
