Play helps my pre-kindergartners learn while having fun! Most students learn the most when they are engaged in imaginative play within the classroom. These educational toys help my students build a library of knowledge in different subject areas including math, colors, fine motor skills, and general cognitive knowledge. Center time is a time that my students truly look forward to in their school day.
Students will have the opportunity to learn while having fun! My students are noticeably more engaged and eager to learn when they have the proper toys that promote learning. My students have educational goals that have an emphasis on basic concepts like counting, color recognition, and strengthening of fine motor muscles.
These toys will enhance my classroom and help my gain knowledge through play. All of these toys have been chosen keeping my student's cognitive levels in mind. I chose these items based off of the needs of my student's disabilities and cognitive delays. I have seen in my curriculum how important it is to engage my students with creative play. These toys would be an asset to my special needs classroom.
