These lockers are now being used with our **3rd–5th grade students** and have already become a valuable resource for creating a more focused learning environment.\r\n\r\nWhen students enter the classroom, they have a designated and secure place to store their phones during instructional time. This simple routine helps reduce distractions and allows students to focus more fully on their teachers, classmates, reading, writing, and other classroom activities.\r\n\r\nOur students were excited and curious when they first saw the cell phone lockers. They quickly learned the new routine and understood that the lockers were there to help us create an environment where everyone can concentrate and participate in learning.\r\n\r\nOne of the greatest benefits has been helping students understand that there is a **time for technology and a time to disconnect and focus**. With phones safely stored away, students can be more present during instruction, participate in discussions, collaborate with classmates, and complete their work without the temptation of checking their devices.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue building consistent routines with our 3rd–5th grade students and encourage responsible technology habits.
