My students are in the gifted program at Stoneview Elementary School in Lithonia, Georgia. They are working hard and very eager to learn about the natural world. My students have been learning about weather science and many other related topics. We would love to be able to have weather science measure tools installed in our schoolyard garden so that we can accurately measure atmospheric conditions. With the installation of weather tools, our garden courtyard will then also function as an outdoor weather exploration station. It is my goal to help these students become the resident weather science "experts" at our school. The students will be able to be engage in this learning experience throughout the school year. My students are also excited about being able to share their weather science knowledge with their other classmates. We sincerely hope that you will consider funding this project.
