For those with sensory sensitivities, anxiety, or ADHD, everyday environments can sometimes feel chaotic or overstimulating. These sensory tools have offered a grounding effect. They help regulate emotions, improve concentration, and create a safe outlet for stress or excess energy.\r\n\r\nBeyond emotional regulation, these toys foster independence and confidence. Being able to self-soothe or refocus without external intervention is empowering. It allows my students to participate more fully in their schoolwork and social settings. Something as small as a fidget device has made the difference between frustration and success, between isolation and engagement.\r\n\r\nThe impact also extends to families, educators, and caregivers. These toys have provided a bridge to better understanding and communication. They reduce tension, support positive behaviors, and create opportunities for connection. Having a printer makes everything much easier.\r\n\r\nOur iPad gives students opportunities to explore scientific videos and view math and reading tutorials.
