In my first grade classroom, my students reading ability level ranges from pre-k to third grade readers. I read to my students everyday. As soon as I put the book back on the shelf, I notice all my students eagerly choosing that book to read next. I know that a portion of my class will struggle with those books. With the books purchased through DonorsChoose, it will enable even the struggling readers to have enjoyable books on their level. I'm excited for the endless amount of reading lies ahead of them.
