Being able to have quality headphones along with flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning while making positive choices. During independent work times, students are allowed to choose a location in the classroom that works for them. My students choose a variety of places to work be it under their desks, at tables, laying on the floor, or sitting under the cubbies. In order to keep students engaged, it is essential to have choices in their learning and sometimes that includes having quality materials to assist in their learning. I have noticed amazing differences in my students' learning when they're able to use quality headphones that they can actually hear the clear and crispness of their digital lessons without interference, interruptions, or discomfort. I have also noticed the positivity made in their behavior from having flexible seating as they're learning. It keeps them engaged and allows them to take charge of their learning. The positive choices made are endless when students have the necessary materials to help them learn!
