The importance of these scientific calculators is significant. They must use them every single day in class. Part of teaching 8th grade math is not just the math concepts, but actually teaching the students how to use the calculator in the correct way. Right now, we are currently trying to understand the difference between the squared and square root buttons compare to the cube and cubic root buttons. The storage compartments have helped to keep track of the calculators at the end of each class period. \r\n\r\nThe new calculators came at the precise moment! The school needed to borrow the class set they loaned me for state testing purposes. Without the new ones you donated, the students would not have been able to complete the lessons for the week, so I thank you for your donations once again.\r\n\r\nWithout donations from people like you, our classrooms would not thrive as well as they do.","fullyFundedDate":1787252777574,"projectUrl":"project/math-at-our-fingertips/10475895/","projectTitle":"Math At Our Fingertips!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Clifford","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2500186_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1508206730423","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mskclifford"},{"teacherId":2415069,"projectId":9667794,"letterContent":"Thanks to your support, our Tech Take Off drone project has made a powerful impact in our classroom. By planning flight paths, practicing takeoffs, and solving real‑time navigation challenges, students are building problem‑solving, teamwork, and spatial‑reasoning abilities.\r\nWhat excites them most is the chance to be the pilot. The live camera views, obstacle courses, and flight missions make learning feel like an adventure, and students are eager to improve with every attempt.\r\nSeveral students who usually struggle in traditional settings have especially connected with this technology. Quiet learners have stepped into leadership roles, helping peers master controls, while others have gained confidence and coordination through repeated practice.\r\nYour generosity didn't just bring drones into our room — it opened new doors to curiosity, confidence, and future STEM opportunities.","fullyFundedDate":1762265381654,"projectUrl":"project/tech-takeoff-launching-student-success/9667794/","projectTitle":"Tech Takeoff: Launching Student Success with Drones and AI","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Maximilien","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2415069_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1456791234649","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/jmaximilien"},{"teacherId":10225016,"projectId":9652012,"letterContent":"Good afternoon, the following is to thank you for your generosity in donating the materials for my class and students.
