The excitement has spilled into our Writing Studio and Book Nook centers, where students now write their own \"chapter\" adventures and illustrate Egyptian scenes inspired by the story.\r\n\r\nOne of my struggling readers told me, \"I didn't like reading until I met Jack and Annie.\" That single moment captured the magic these books have brought into our room. Students who once hesitated during reading or spelling activities now approach the tile center with enthusiasm and determination.
