All the items you donated were distributed within the school in the areas that most needed them. I gave our excellent social worker backpacks with shampoo, deodorant, underwear, and personal hygiene items so she could give them to any new Mc Kinney Vento students (homeless). Also, I gave our hard-working nurses girls' and boys' underwear to use when a student has an accident (mostly K to 2nd graders). \r\n\r\nWe prepare care packages with soap, deodorant, combs, and brushes for fifth-grade students who do not have them at home. At the ESOL program, I keep backpacks full of your kind donations for new English Language Students.
