These high interest fiction and non-fiction magazines will be used to provide students access to engaging text at home and at school. Full color copies that students can write on and then take home to share with their parents will make a huge difference. Getting parents involved increases engagement for students. In addition to each student receiving a hard copy of the magazine, the subscriptions also include online access to the magazines. This can be used in whole group instruction to project the text and model marking the text. Students can also access the texts online in small groups or individually at school or at home.
