Having a full belly allows students to have the best learning opportunity. \r\nAnother way we use the snacks is for tardy students. After a certain time, tardy students can no longer receive breakfast from the lunchroom. Flexible seating is very beneficial for kindergarten learners. It allows students to move easily. Students are given the opportunity to change and pick their preferred seating often. In my classroom I have wobble cushions, chairs, stools, ball chairs, a desk chair, and floor seats. This allows each child to sit comfortably in the style they like. I also have some regular height tables, high tables and low tables. My goal is to make all students as comfortable as possible to allow for the most learning. \r\n\r\nMy students loved seeing they have a choice of seating. Several students thought they wanted a typical chair and have requested to switch it out for some form of flexible seating. The ball chairs allow student to be seated but bounce while working. As students enter the classroom and complete their morning routine they are allowed to observe the fish. We love having fish in our classroom. \r\n\r\nWhen the students saw the fish tank for the first time, they were full of excitement and smiles. Children observe the fish to learn about sea life. This allows them to learn hands on about animal habitats, animal body coverings, and how fish move.
