Because of you, students in grades 3, 4, and 5 were able to engage in authentic, hands-on STEM learning that sparked creativity, confidence, and problem-solving. Members of our Girls STEM Club—and all students in my math and science classes—used the Chomp Saws to safely cut and engineer cardboard creations including three-dimensional dinosaurs, landscape relief sculptures, and Women in STEM portrait reliefs.\r\n\r\nThese projects went far beyond art; students applied measurement, spatial reasoning, design thinking, and perseverance as they planned, tested, and revised their work. The saws empowered students to take ownership of their ideas, collaborate with peers, and see themselves as builders and engineers. For many of our girls, especially, this experience was a powerful way to connect creativity with STEM and envision themselves in future STEM pathways.
