One of the struggles my students have is not being able to have access to technology. We have programs in our school that require internet access and they are not able to enjoy these programs at home. These programs can help them to do a variety of things such as learning math for example addition and subtraction. This can also help with their Language Arts skills such as phonics and learning how to read. Being able to provide my low-income families with this access can help students to learn English because these programs can also provide translations for them. This will help them with their listening and speaking skills as well. These programs on the laptops can also provide the parents access to check their child's progression and communicate their concerns and comments which can be done right from their phones.
