Teaching at a Title 1 school has its challenges. Thanks to your donation to our project, I was able to impact more students in the learning and create real world connections with the students.\r\n Teaching students in grades Kindergarten to Fifth grade can be a challenge sometimes. Especially when we are pressed for time and you want to ensure that the topic is covered before they leave my classroom in the 30 minutes they have. By being able to use the large chart paper, markers, and crayons, the students are able to work in smaller groups and then place their ideas on sticky notes for the entire class to see. This worked well with every grade I teach. Lessons don't have to be always pencil, paper, or notebook band. With the right resources, students can use different methods to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1725992003301,"projectUrl":"project/turning-a-dream-into-a-reality/8628010/","projectTitle":"Turning a Dream Into A Reality","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Tse","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp370434_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753582844882","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/370434"},{"teacherId":370434,"projectId":8334801,"letterContent":"Thank you very much for all the amazing supplies. The students were able to make connections from what they learned in the lesson and apply it to real world experiences. \r\nThe student's had a chance to learn about our world of technology. Where it is found and how it can be used at home. The students were then tasked with exploring the classroom for available technology and what qualified as technology. Something that made life eaiser for them. They went on a technology scavenger hunt and drew what they found on the post it notes with crayons and markers. \r\nWhen they went home, they were given the same task. What technology is located at home? How is it being used? It was great for the students to be able to compare and contrast the technology they found at home versus what they had at school.
