My students range from age 5 to grade 5 with a wide range of abilities. My job is to bring back the love of school, the importance of education, and to find the best way to help them learn. We are always using hands-on ways of learning a skill, and thinking outside the box. The most important part of the classroom is that the over 60 students feel safe, important, smart, and know it's okay to make a mistake (as long as they try their best!) The students have a wide range of needs, so every year brings a new hurdle to cross. Their reading needs range from preschool to 7th grade level, so I can never have enough books!
