The new materials you helped provide have truly brightened our space and made learning even more engaging for my students.\r\nWhen the boxes arrived, the students were so excited! \r\n\r\nTheir favorite moment was unrolling the bright pink ABC rug and discovering all the letters, shapes, and animals on it. It has become our favorite gathering spot for morning meetings, circle time, and story time. The rug helps students learn while feeling calm, safe, and comfortable.\r\n\r\nThe Eric Carle book set has been another big hit. My students love listening to these familiar stories and looking at the colorful pictures. We recently read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and used Play-Doh and wooden blocks to build our own caterpillars and butterflies. It was such a proud moment watching them connect the story to hands-on play!\r\n\r\nThe magnetic whiteboards, mini erasers, and Crayola markers are used daily during small group lessons. Students enjoy practicing letters, tracing words, and drawing pictures to show what they've learned. The chairback pockets and storage boxes have also helped keep our materials neat and easy to find, giving each student a sense of independence and responsibility.\r\n\r\nThe sensory toys have been a wonderful calming tool for students who need a moment to refocus during the day. They help students manage emotions and return to learning ready and relaxed.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be using our new materials to begin a \"Story Builders\" project where students will read one of our Eric Carle books and then create their own stories using blocks, Play-Doh, and drawings. This project encourages creativity, communication, and social-emotional growth; all essential skills for our CES learners.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in my students and giving them the tools to learn, play, and grow. I'm writing to share a heartfelt update on how your generous donation has made a significant impact in our classroom, especially during our recent Valentine's Day Festival.\r\nThanks to your support, we were able to provide snacks for all the students during our celebration. The festival was filled with laughter, excitement, and moments of connection, and the snacks played a huge role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. For many of our students, it was more than just a treat – it was a chance to come together, share a little joy, and celebrate friendship. Whether it was enjoying a sweet cookie or sharing a bag of chips, the snacks helped build a sense of community and belonging among the students, which is so important in creating a positive school environment\r\nWhen the students first saw the snacks, their faces lit up! It wasn't just about the food itself, but the thoughtfulness behind it. They felt seen and appreciated, and it made the entire event even more special. Your donation allowed us to go beyond just the basics and offer a variety of treats that everyone could enjoy. Some students even took the time to thank me for the thoughtful gesture, which was a testament to how much it meant to them.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we are planning to continue incorporating moments of celebration and joy like this throughout the year. The snacks were just one small part of the day, but they contributed to an atmosphere of kindness and togetherness that we'll carry with us long after the festival.\r\n\r\nThank you for being part of this experience and for making it all possible.
