These new texts have opened the door to so many important reading skills for my 4th graders. We've been using them to strengthen comprehension strategies like making inferences, identifying theme, and analyzing characters. Many of the books also support our work with nonfiction text features, vocabulary building, and deeper discussion skills during partner and small-group reading. Having these high-interest titles allows my students to practice these skills in books they truly connect with.\r\nStudents start each day with independent reading time, where they get to choose a book that excites them. It has been especially wonderful to see students who previously struggled to find books they enjoyed now eagerly reaching for the new texts you helped provide. Their excitement is contagious, and it's all thanks to your support. Your generosity has truly helped create a joyful, thriving reading community in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1760404946139,"projectUrl":"project/mrs-rinaldis-4th-grade-class/9824324/","projectTitle":"Mrs. Rinaldi's 4th grade class","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rinaldi","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9519944"},{"teacherId":10313865,"projectId":9833146,"letterContent":"Thank you for your support of my Literacy in PE Donors Choose project. PE is a favorite time of the day for many students in my elementary school. Now, thanks to your support, I will be able to incorporate more literacy into their favorite activities.\r\n\r\nSince receiving my package of items, I have already started using materials. One specific item, the Let's Get Moving silicone activity mats, have been used for stations. We have a special education program focusing on Autism that comes to the gym once a week. I have been able to use these activity mats to support as visual aids for our students with autism. I also used the mats for a self-guided station during my first grade physical education class. The students loved creating their own path with the mats and creating a routine.\r\n\r\nThank you again for all of your support!","fullyFundedDate":1760801273938,"projectUrl":"project/literacy-in-pe/9833146/","projectTitle":"Literacy in PE!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rendon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10313865_orig.png?crop=796,796,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1760557026299","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10313865"},{"teacherId":3761331,"projectId":9830895,"letterContent":"My students have been using the sound phones on a daily basis.
