These materials will help my students access the general education curriculum at their own pace. My students need hands on materials to help them engage with grade level curriculum and generalize new skills. The clock faces, rainbow tiles, and pocket chart will give students hands-on practice with first and second grade math targets. The whisper phones will help students increase their reading fluency and comprehension. My students also need access to flexible seating. The wobble cushions will allow my students to fulfill their sensory needs while remaining seated during whole group instruction. Allowing the students to fidget and move while they are seated without creating a distraction to others helps them to participate in the general education setting and whole group settings.
