For some students, having a snack available means they can put their attention back where it belongs—on learning. Coloring supplies provide students with a creative outlet during breaks and can be used to encourage relaxation, self-expression, and positive classroom interactions.\r\n\r\nThe cleaning supplies may seem like a small part of the project, but they help us maintain a clean and healthy classroom environment where students feel comfortable and cared for.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these resources have helped me create a classroom where students' individual needs are recognized and supported. We also received a hanging shoe organizer which we use to house student headphones for use during technology times. It helps them make connections between what we talk about in class and what is happening in the real world.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is how the technology lets them explore and figure things out on their own. When they can immediately see results from an experiment or model a concept digitally, their curiosity really grows. Many students who might normally be quiet during traditional lessons become much more engaged when they can interact with the material in a hands-on way.\r\n\r\nSome students have especially responded to the technology because it gives them more confidence in their learning.
