Now, our workspace is much cleaner and we can transition between activities much faster. The students love the magic of clearing their screen with a single touch, which allows us to transition between problems faster and keeps the focus entirely on learning rather than cleaning up. It has been amazing to see how a simple change in technology can boost a student's confidence. Even my most reluctant writers are now eager to participate in word work and math problems. We are significantly reducing our use of paper and chemical-based markers.The ease of erasing allows students to take risks and make mistakes without the permanence of ink, which is vital for building new skills.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, my students feel like their learning environment is special and modern. My class absolutely loved the new Pete the Cat books and the games! The games added much excitement to our daily stations. The students were instantly engaged in creating new words when given a letter in the missing cupcakes game. It even allowed for easy differentiation based on students individual needs. The cool cat math game is also very engaging with various Math problems. I am able to choose the skill we are currently working on and provide only those cards when the students play the game. They were so excited when I took them out for the first time and the excitement continues. They love using the sensory table to search for different items related to what we are learning. For example, they are able to find items that begin with various sounds when working on identifying beginning sounds. Their eyes just light up!\r\n\r\nI cannot express the amount of appreciation I have for contributing to my classroom. They used the white paper bags to draw a fun design and create their own wrapping paper. It was a great way to ensure that each child was able to give a gift to a loved one.
