My 5th grade students are part of a community of learners in a unique school in an urban setting. Our school is a 1st-8th grade building that focuses on creating a safe, nurturing environment that builds on and strengthens the unique intellectual, emotional, social, and physical potential of the whole child. My students come from many backgrounds, but all have one thing in common; a passion for learning! I teach Math and Science and believe in an integration of the subjects as well as incorporating literature and the Arts into my curriculum.
