It has been an absolute game changer! I am able to laminate things to hang in my classroom for students to reference. I am also able to laminate and use velcro to make reusuable token boards for students who struggle with motivation. Lastly and possibly most important, I am able to laminate resoureces and work activities so that they can be used for repeated practice. Sometimes the same student will repeat an activity multiple times throughout a day to help with mastery, but also so multiple students can practice the same skill throughout the days and weeks. \r\n\r\nIn the pictures you can see a variety of things that I will now keep up in my classroom all year. I have the alphabet chart hanging as well as other phonics helpers. We do a great deal of work with blends and digraphs and now I can have those visuals up for my students year round. I also keep multiple alphabet charts laminated and at the ready for students to grab when they are struggling. I use sentence strip to help students practice reading simple sentences and writing them. To be able to use these over and over again saves time for me in preparation but also allows students the ability to independently grab resources when they need them. \r\n\r\nLastly is the games that my students truly love to play that I need to stand up to the test of time! I can laminate pieces to a variety of games so that they can be played over and over again. Thank you for all of the wonderful things with which you have supplied us. The books are a wonderful addition to our classroom both for independent browsing and to enhance our emotional learning. We are also loving our sensory emotions for the same reason! Kids are really gravitating to those to help express themselves, but also just enjoying watching the movement that they make within the bottle. \r\n\r\nWe really love hands on activities in my room and the kids have been having the best time with the ice cream scoop and count. They love to tell me that they only want chocolate or only want vanilla. I also think its fabulous that the scooper it comes with is a little tricky to use! It really forces the kids to use their pincher grasp in order to get it open which is fabulous! Finding the letters in the rice is a similar activity that also puts a really fun spin on letter matching. \r\n\r\nI think my absolute favorite though is the hand to mind letter magnets. They come in color coded bags so not only does each student get to pick their own color but it makes clean up so much easier! We really are having the best time with all our new goodies, thank you so much for thinking of us.","fullyFundedDate":1755742158777,"projectUrl":"project/new-finds-for-a-new-year/9523841/","projectTitle":"New Finds for a New Year!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Guidotti","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9493628_orig.jpg?crop=534,534,x766,y100&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754015742905","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9493628"},{"teacherId":8556526,"projectId":8616338,"letterContent":"Because of you, students now have seating that helps them feel comfortable, calm, and ready to learn.
