Each week, we would monitor the contributions and the amount raised. The kids cheered loudly when they heard that we reached our goal! When the standing desks arrived, they were coveted pieces of furniture in the art classroom. More importantly, there was a marked change in student engagement and productivity. Students were motivated to work because the reward was the opportunity to use the standing desks.
