The stress toys gave the students an opportunity to relieve stress in an appropriate way. \r\n\r\nThe new cage gave our pet rat a cozy home while he is in the classroom. What a long journey it was to get here! Something that seems so simple as students having a nice place to sit when we gather for learning was actually kind of tricky! I was new to this classroom this year, and the rug we inherited was in very bad shape. Actually it was quite disgusting. When we picked it up, there was a mountain of dirt underneath. To the trash it went! Then, using my own money, I tried to buy a big enough rug that work, but unfortunately, you get what you pay for. It didn't take long for 22 fifth graders to wear it out and we were left with a hard tile floor. Thanks to your generosity we NOW have a beautiful space to gather. The new rug is durable, adorable, soft, and so cozy! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making something that seems so simple possible for us. Students will enjoy this rug for many years to come!
