I am requesting these specific books because my preschool students's education would be enriched through each of genres. In our school, we study the IB curriculum. We learn how to be world thinkers, how to distribute positive attributes, and how to have an appreciation for others around us. My choice list of books teaches them all about themselves, the world around them, and how to express themselves through fairy tale stories and emotions Literature enriches everyone's life. I want my class to have a greater appreciation of literature, not just in a fun way, but also an informational way. Teaching concepts to children such as emotions, changes, and different ways to express themselves through literature shows them not only how to live in another perspective, it makes them aware of their own. The way each child perceives a story is always different. I am teaching my students how to become world thinkers and how to be open-minded through these books.
