I have a wide range of varied level readers in my classroom. My goal is to inspire a love for reading no matter what, even if it can be challenging. I want to create a library that is accessible to all of my students, peaks their interest, and gives them an opportunity to learn about the world around them. Struggling readers often times are intimidated by chapter books. Books like graphic novels or sets that peak their interest can be less intimidating. My goal is to help students learn that reading can be fun and is a perfect way to build better readers. With these exciting, varied leveled, and attention catching books, I believe this can be a gateway to better reading skills for reluctant readers.
