For example, we were able to get putty and letter beads that have aided students with fine-motor skills that assist in pencil grip, and therefor handwriting. We also have a new mini bookcase that the students absolutely love that I place current seasonal interest books into. They consider this \"their\" special bookcase and bring in things from home and outside to decorate it. This ownership over the books and space has increased their desire to read and write their own stories to add to the shelf. The folders have kept organized as it travels to and from home.
