I am building a new program at our school that will focus on our students who have been struggling since Kindergarten to read. The leaders and teachers in my building are not letting any student slip through the cracks. We are intentionally tracking every student and these students need intense support. We have many of the things needed for our classroom (books, pencils, paper, etc...). What we do not have is a place to work with students that has furniture. Our space is open and we do have a few tables and chairs, but we need storage and alternative seating. The benches will provide both. Places for students to put their books and work AND a place to sit when they are practicing their reading skills. The easel will provide a dry erase board and poster paper for me to model my lessons for decoding words and understanding text. Please help change these children's lives by helping to create literate young people. Thank you so much!!
