I am in need of 20 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Books for my students to read. We have the amazing opportunity to see the play Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but we want to read the story first so we know what is going on in the play. My students love reading and sharing their thoughts and ideas about the story with each other. Unfortunately, many of my students come from low income homes and do not have the opportunity to read classic stories like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I am hoping my students will fall in love with reading and continue to read for the rest of their lives. If I can expose my students to books they want to read and are fun, hopefully we can move in the right direction of getting them to fall in love with reading.
