We use it daily for small group instruction, morning meetings, and hands on learning activities. One memorable moment was during a math lesson where students each sat on their own colored square to work on counting and number patterns. Having a clearly defined personal space helped them stay focused and confident while participating.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the rug, their reactions were full of excitement; big smiles, lots of \"oohs,\" and questions about which color their table group would get to sit on. For many of them, having their own designated space made a huge difference. It gave them a sense of ownership and comfort, and it helped them better visualize boundaries and expectations within a shared classroom environment.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, we're now able to take our learning even further. Our next steps include using the rug for targeted small group instruction, collaborative partner work, and social-emotional learning circles where students can safely share and connect. We're also incorporating it into literacy centers, where each color square can represent a different activity or role.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly helped create a more structured, engaging, and welcoming learning environment for our students.
